Typical Assignments
Some of our more typical appraisal requests include property damage, contamination, defect, title or fire insurance claims, estate tax, partial interest gifts, malpractice, property tax and casualty loss appraisals.

Special Purpose Properties
Through the years, we have been hired to complete appraisals on some rather unusual properties, including many miles of coastline as if it were developed, a parcel that included over 500 power-generating windmills, an auto assembly plant, an ice rink, and biotech labs.

Expert Witness
We are often called upon to provide testimony and/or depositions in property tax appeals, bankruptcy hearings, tax court, eminent domain, dissolution, contamination, damage, disclosure, professional negligence, and other lawsuits.

Both lead appraisers have qualified as an expert witness in various settings, as set forth on our resumes.

Arbitration
We are qualified and available to assist in arbitration relating to rental of land or property, purchase options, partitions, fire loss, and economic damage.

Review
Our firm has provided in-depth review of hundreds of appraisals for compliance with R41b/c, litigation audit, etc.
